EVANSTON LANDMARK RENOVATION

Renovation of an Historic Landmark House / Evanston, Illinois

The owners of this 1880's era house in Evanston sought to renovate parts of the interior and to bring back the wrap-around front porch that had been poorly renovated by a previous owner. Because the house is an historic landmark, FDA helped the owners to obtain approval for the project design from the City of Evanston's Preservation Commission. Interior renovations include a new/restored front stair, a new master bath, the kitchen and adjacent family room, a first floor guest suite and restoring the parlor and living room.
