Biography

A long-time University of Michigan/Wolverine fan, Rose grew up in the “mitten state” and attended college there.  After a stint in Madison, Wisconsin and six years in California, she now calls Chicago home, where she’s lived with her husband since 2000.

Prior to joining Foster Dale Architects in 2016, Rose was the founder and owner of RPE Architects, a firm focused on high-end residential and interiors projects.  RPE Architects designed, detailed and supervised the construction of projects in Chicago, several Chicago suburbs and southwest Michigan.

Rose also spent 4 years at JDL Development in Chicago where she worked closely with clients to design several single-family homes and then help oversee their construction.  For the multi-family housing market, she helped design and develop Columbia Place, JDL’s 63-unit townhome project in West Lincoln Park, along with their Paulina Rowhomes and Diversey Townhomes projects.

As a proud parent of two North Park Elementary School students, Rose provided space-planning, interior design and architectural consulting services for the school over the years.

Outside of being an architect, Rose enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, running and watching sports (especially UM football) with her husband.
